India is one of the nations in the world which has many religions, with religion playing a central role in the lives of most of the Indians.Majority of them are Hindus and the Gods they accept today can be broadly classified as Saiva Gods (Siva, His consort, His sons and many other forms), Vaishnava Gods (Lord Vishnu, His consort and His various avatharams) & Sakthi or Saktha (It Means Forms of Goddess Sakthi). There are other sects such as Ganapathyam (Lord Ganesha is son of Lord Siva), Kaumaram (Lord Muruga is son of Lord Siva), Souram (Lord Surya).
